• UKULELE & CRAFTS workshops for children at the magical GREEN SHED in Muswell Hill London N10 1ND.

• ACTIVITIES will be fun, friendly & creative, inclusive, cosy and informal with children learning to play the ukulele, Story-telling, Song writing, Rhythm, Make own instrument, Masks, Colouring in, Making cards, Pictures, Bunting, and other TAKEAWAYS with a huge variety of materials, beautiful fabrics, lace, and trimmings.

• The children will be mixed ages 5 to 11yo and may be grouped by age/ability and switched across all activities using our judgement and engagement criteria for each activity to ensure an enjoyable learning flow for all participants.

• There will be names games and ice breaker games for the children to get to know us and each other straight away and eliminate any nerves they might have about.

• The shed is very easy going and cheerful.

• Margie will introduce the wonderful world of the ukulele or help you improve if you have already started playing – ukuleles and all materials provided – or bring your own if you already play, sharing inspirational fun stories linking to songs, rhythm & movement games to begin to play songs and have fun with the ukulele straight away.

• The craft activity will involve sitting around the table having fun and laughing with as much or as little help from Nicky as they want.

• Each Workshop is a one off either on Tuesday or on a Thursday at 2pm till 5pm (3 hours) Dates available: Thursday 30th August.  

• The cost is all inclusive OFFER 1) £58 per child plus 1 parent or OFFER 2) £65 for 2 children plus 1 Parent.

• There will be water or fruit juice, and a few biscuits half way through

•  if your child has any allergies or special needs please let us know at registration, you will be requested to fill in your details online at the link provided in the previous page.

• One parent can choose to join into the activities or stay for a little to watch if accompanying a second sibling, but do not need to stay for the whole time unless they wish to.

• If you wish to book more than one workshop please contact us via email to arrange a special discount fee for multiple days bookings.

• Prepayment of £58 or £65 for 1 X 3 hour workshop on a date of your choice – you can select dates on the online booking calendar when following the booking phase – will be payable in advance via The North London Ukulele Club website through the links provided. 

• There will be a maximum of 6 and 6 parents or siblings – Total 12 places per workshop. 

• Cancellation Policy: Please note there is no refund policy on this fee. Cancellations due to illness require 48 hours notice and a catch up lesson will be offered. A catch up lesson will be offered at our discretion for same day cancellation due to an emergency or sudden illness. Sessions are non refundable or transferable.

• We’ll always have one helper.

• We are DBS checked and have Public Liability Insurance. 

• These activities are for boys too, it’s not all pink and girly.

• There will be a very friendly little West Highland Terrier dog around.
