A little star in the making

My top pupil Hannah and I played a great 15 minutes set as 'The Quirkettes' at Martin's School Summer Fair today. Hannah is 8 and has been practising with me for over a year. This was her first duo performance on stage playing her ukulele and singing into microphones in front of the whole school. We could see children's, parent's and teacher's faces brightening up in wonder and singing along to our tunes which included: Yellow Bird, She'll be coming round the mountain and Always look on the birght side of life. Hannah memorises very easily and can play and sing most songs by heart. A true sign of a star in the making! Well done Hannah I am immensly proud of you! We have already been invited back again to perform at the Christmas fair this winter! Go Quirkettes! Who's up for the challenge?
